A Trend of Kindness During the COVID-19 Pandemic

An anonymous donor has stepped up to provide $500,000 in COVID-19 emergency assistance! This unexpected gift will bring some relief to both our participants and staff with $300,00 to be distributed to children and families in our programs who need it, and $200,000 for eligible employees who make $50,000 or less. Funds will be made available through gift cards for the purchase of food, medication, baby items, utilities, rent, and any other critical needs. With the ongoing impact of COVID-19 in NYC, many families continue to be gripped by the increased financial stress. We have seen a trend of kindness, which has reaffirmed our optimism about what the future will be after we get through this.
