Our Programs

McLaughlin East Harlem Residence (formerly Edwin Gould Academy) is a housing program for young adults, ages 18 to 25. The East Harlem residency provides safe, affordable housing to 36 young adults in studio apartments. The residence also has 15 supportive housing units which consist of 15 one-bedroom apartments for a single parent with one child.

In addition to housing, McLaughlin East Harlem Residence offers a host of services and supports which include counseling, peer groups, life-skills training, and referrals-all designed to meet the emotional, employment, housing, educational, and legal needs of youth in one convenient setting.
