Our Programs
Youth Justice Programs | Brooklyn Heights
Our Parent Support Program (PSP) builds on our existing services for court-involved youth in East New York, Brooklyn, in which we work closely with the DOP and NYS Office of Children and Family Services to provide court-involved youth with wraparound services through our LIFE, Arches and AIM programs.
Parent Coaches are credible messengers who serve as peers to family members. Credible messengers are members of their community, ideally parents, who have had similar experiences with the juvenile justice system. Our coaches have a deep knowledge of the specific challenges participants face within their neighborhood. They provide critical peer support at the Department of Probation’s Brooklyn Family Court office to parents and caregivers of youth going through the juvenile justice system, assist parents/caregivers in navigating the conditions that can be assigned to their children such as substance abuse treatment.
