DC looks to NYC organization for best ways to deal with violent crimes

NEW YORK CITY — They’ve been on the streets of the Bronx for six years now, and in the areas where they have focused their efforts, violent crime, particularly shootings, has plummeted. The organization goes by the name BRAG—Bronx Rises Against Gun Violence.

Its workers are called violence interrupters.
