Good Shepherd Services’ in-school support programs work within public schools to offer services and intervention strategies for students who are most at risk of not completing high school. Our staff works with the school’s administration to fill gaps—not duplicate efforts.
In-school support services include attendance monitoring and outreach, counseling, crisis intervention, conflict mediation, extended day activities, tutoring, Regents preparation, incentive trips, parent involvement activities and referrals to a broad network of services. Through these efforts, Good Shepherd Services staff members play a key role in the unity of each school community and they’re an important bridge between home and school.
