Gun Violence Drops by 25% in New York City
The New York Times reports that shootings in New York City drop by 25 percent through the first half of this year. For David Caba, vice president of Good Shepherd’s Bronx Rises Against Gun Violence program, the drop in gun violence that the department emphasized reflects the work of social service organizations. “It takes everyone,” he said, adding: “It ain’t just one entity that’s going to come in and provide a remedy.”
